End of Life Symptom Management

Many physical, emotional, and spiritual challenges occur at the end of life. Often, family and other caregivers have little experience with the dying process. Assisting caregivers by teaching them what to expect and how to recognize the common end-of-life signs and symptoms will better prepare them to provide care. Hospice professionals guide patients and caregivers through this process, provide specific services at the time of death, and support the family after death.
