Podcast: Challenging Behaviors Post TBI – Best Practices for Rehab Therapists

Individuals who have experienced acquired brain injury can demonstrate a variety of challenging and maladaptive behaviors including impulsivity, aggression, depression, or apathy. These behaviors are even more pronounced if the individual has a prior diagnosis of a mental health disorder. Rehabilitation therapists must be well versed in modifying their patient interactions, treatment approaches, and plans of care to best accommodate the patient's needs for optimal outcomes.
