Learning Objectives:
Review the Inform USA Standards to understand how best to serve persons who may contact the Community Navigation service about mental illness services or who may have mental illness concerns.
Describe the nature and types of mental illnesses (e.g., depressive disorders, bipolar and related disorders, schizophrenia spectrum and other psychotic disorders, anxiety disorders, etc.)
Communicate more effective with persons who have mental illness.
Explain the basic structure of services available to persons with mental illness.

The target audience for this course is: Service Coordination Personnel; in the following settings: Behavioral Health: Community Services.
