Christopher Meketansky OTR/L graduated from Stony Brook University in 2017 with a Master of Science Degree in Occupational Therapy. He received training in manual therapy, specialized treatment for individuals with degenerative neurological disorders and post-stroke neurorehabilitation. He has worked in skilled nursing and home healthcare settings with experience treating patients with dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, balance impairments, and a myriad of other conditions impacting the older adult population.
Subject Matter Expert: Julia M Lindsey, MS, OTR/L
Julia graduated from Indiana University Purdue University with a BS in Occupational Therapy. She later received a Master of Science Degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Indianapolis. She has over 30 years of experience working in a variety of settings including early intervention, School based services, home health, home assessments for VA and skilled nursing. She has 5 years of experience providing teletherapy services to remote schools. During the pandemic she began providing home modification assessments for the VA and adult therapy services including mental health and physical rehab via telehealth. She loves providing services to patients in their natural environment and what better way than with teletherapy.
